Is it really free?
Yes. A Health Passport is free for every South African patient, with no cost to create it, hold it or share it.
Who can see my record?
Nobody by default. A practice has to ask, you approve specific categories for a set time, and you can revoke it whenever you like. You can also see who has looked.
What happens in an emergency?
Your emergency QR opens a summary of your critical information for a paramedic or first responder, with no login or app needed. You can print it, keep it on your lock screen, and revoke it if you lose the card.
Can I add my children?
Yes. Add a dependent and manage their own passport from your account, with no separate login for them.
