This Privacy Policy applies to the website at medvexis.co.za (the "Website"), operated by Medvexis (Pty) Ltd (Registration No. 2026/294024/07), a private company incorporated in South Africa ("Medvexis", "we", "us").
This Policy does not cover the Medvexis clinical platform itself (app.medvexis.co.za), which is governed by a separate Privacy Notice provided to registered practices, staff, and patients. This Policy covers only your visit to our public marketing website, for example browsing our pages, opening the live demo, or contacting us.
We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 ("POPIA").

3. What personal information we collect
Through the Website, we collect only what you choose to give us:
- Contact and enquiries: your name, email address, and the content of your message, if you email us or use a contact link on the Website.
- Automatically collected data: standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited, collected via cookies and similar technologies. See our Cookie Notice for detail.
The live demo on this Website does not require you to create an account or submit any personal information, and it contains only fictional sample data.
We do not collect patient health information through this Website. Health information is only ever processed within the Medvexis clinical platform by registered healthcare practices, under a separate agreement. If you register a practice at app.medvexis.co.za, the information you provide there is governed by the separate Privacy Notice and agreements for that platform, not by this Policy.
4. Why we process your information
We process your personal information for the following purposes, and no others:

- Regulators or authorities, only where required by law.

6. How long we keep your information
- Enquiry records are kept for 12 months to allow us to follow up, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
- Where you have asked to receive product or launch updates, we keep your email address until you unsubscribe, or for a maximum of 24 months, whichever comes first.
7. Your rights
Under POPIA, you have the right to:
- Request confirmation of whether we hold personal information about you;
- Request access to that information;
- Request correction or deletion of your personal information;
- Object to the processing of your personal information;
- Withdraw consent at any time, including by using the unsubscribe link in any email we send you; and
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa if you believe we have not complied with POPIA.

8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the personal information we hold, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS) and access controls on our systems. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

This Website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Website.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent version. Material changes will be highlighted on the Website.
